Your Day at a Glance

As a GIS Maintenance & Repair Specialist at Siemens Energy you will work hands-on at offshore sites worldwide, performing mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of gas-insulated switchgear. Your practical expertise keeps equipment running safely and efficiently and directly supports the global transition to sustainable energy.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Execute on-site mechanical & electrical maintenance, repair and fault-finding on GIS equipment on offshore platforms
• Strictly follow all safety protocols, conduct risk assessments and guarantee a safe working environment
• Work closely with customers and maintenance crews to ensure timely, safe and reliable power transmission
• Carry out inspections and assessments to verify compliance with quality and sustainability standards
• Provide technical support and training to local teams and clients on site

What You Bring

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent technical experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on mindset
• Willingness to travel extensively, spending 80-90% of your time abroad on offshore assignments
• Fluent English with excellent communication abilities
• Pro-active attitude and passion for continuous learning and professional growth
